Adventures in Bike Helmet Shopping

With the sun coming out a little more, all Ashley wanted to do was be on her bike (Papa would be proud!) Well we had one small problem ... Two Sox chewed on Ashley's bike helmet. So as Daddy painted the garage, we went out to get a new bike helmet

We went to Paul's and first thing is first ... we gotta try the big girl bikes!!

Then we went out to pick our our helmet. Once Ashley saw the "yellow one with the teddy bears on it" it was all over! We got it fitted and we were good to go!

Stay tuned ... Ashley rode her bike today with her new helmet and Daddy took pictures on his camera. We will post them shortly (once Daddy uploads them!)

Baby Shower at Wesley

Our church, Wesley United, threw our family and 2 other families a baby shower! We had a great ti0me with our Grandma and Grandpa Bloomer (picture of Grandma and Granpa taken by Ashley!

A Day with Elmo!

Ashley went out to the theatre tonight and had a blast. We went to Sesame Street Elmo Makes Music. She was in heaven ... grinning from ear to ear!

Most of the time she sat on Daddy's lap so she can really see the show!

Did I mention that she was grinning ear to ear?

This is Ashley and her cousin Gracie. They had a great time together!

Thank Your Rekni!

Ever since Ashley was 3 months old, Rekni has taken care of her while Mom was at work! Well Rekni has decided to leave wiping noses and booties behind her and enter the outside working world. She will be working at Oregon Medical Group while she finishes her degree!


Ashley and I will miss Rekni a lot! She really became a second mom to her and helped me through a lot of first time parenting issues!


Thank you Rekni! Ashley loves you and she will miss you!

Lions, Tigers, and Bears! Oh My!

On Sunday, Ashley and I went to Wildlife Safari to see all the animals.

Her favorite animal was the "Raffe" or Giraffe as we all know it as




We also got to see two bears wrestling in the water!

She had a great time!
